Mikhail Pillay is an accredited TEFL tutor and a Bachelor of Social Science graduate from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he majored in Industrial Psychology and Management. During his studies, he explored a variety of subjects, including English language studies, Religious Studies, Philosophy and much more, giving him a broad academic foundation and strong communication skills. After briefly working in the finance industry, Mikhail decided to pursue his passion for teaching and sharing knowledge with learners from all around the world. In 2024, he worked as a Teaching Assistant at Parkhurst Primary School, supporting Grade 4 to 7 students with lessons, activities and additional academic support. This experience shaped his teaching style, one that blends enjoyable, engaging lessons with meaningful learning outcomes. Mikhail has experience tutoring English, Math and Science and is passionate about creating interactive and motivating lessons that keep students excited to learn. His strong cross-cultural understanding allows him to connect with learners from diverse backgrounds, making them feel confident and supported. He believes learning should be a positive and inspiring journey, helping students reach their goals while enjoying the process.
